Through role playing, students are given the opportunity to practice mutual empathy. This program takes a skills focus by teaching students ways to rephrase their thoughts and feelings into actions that are effective in resolving conflict without it escalating to violence. This resource is strong because it encourages interactive learning through role playing and discussion. Overall, this resource focuses on developing healthy relationships by giving students many opportunities to practice empathy and to share personal thoughts, feelings and experiences.
